The O'Neil Mob started in the late 1800's founded and lean by Lord Seamus O'Neil. At the time they were called the "O'Neil Brotherhood" and were a large group of blue blooded Irish nobility who saw everyone who was not an Irish Nobel to be scum and deranged and not worthy to stand in the ranks of O'Neil. Towards the ending years of Seamus, peasants who lived in the area of his estate rebelled against him and torched his home down and killed him and his children.

The next head of the Brotherhood was O'Neil's younger brother Daniel K O'Neil, and the first man to change the Brotherhood into a criminal organization. He taxed Bakers for 30% of the bread or they would destroy their store. They made illegal fight clubs, in the back streets of Belfast. And that was only the beginning.
Daniel lead the Brotherhood until 1914 where he died of heart failure.

The next to lead the Brotherhood was a man named Luis "Lucky" Connolly. A largely built man, who was once a fighter in the Brotherhoods fight club, but after saving Daniel's life was appointed to a member of the Brotherhood. After him becoming the Boss most of the Nobelmen left the Brotherhood, only leaving the lower levels of Nobility, and Lucky as their leader. They decided to change their name of the O'Neil Mob, because of rumors from America of largely built Irish criminal organizations that called themselves "Mobs". They began selling illegal firearms to groups of Rebels in Belfast. And eventually doubled in size of the original brotherhood and became a threatening force to the Irish Government. The Military bombed the O'Neil estate, but only after Lucky and 30 members left for America with their families.

As soon as the O'Neil mob hit the streets of Liberty city, they changed the game for good. They went through with Assassinations of Italian mobsters and their numbers tripled by the end of the year. Lucky was a multi Millionaire and owned a large amount of the Turf with in liberty city. But in 1928 Lucky was shot 3 times in the head by a rivaling African american gangster.

In 1929 the new boss Michael "The King" O'Neil, grandson of Daniel O'Neil. Came into the lime light at only 19. He was a short handsome young man, with green eyes and a muscular build. He served as the boss for over 20 years all through the Prohibition era and served the Mob well by doubling their total income, and made them one of the strongest Irish Mob's in the world.

In 1953 Michael was killed by his best friend. Eli "3 Finger" O'Connor who ended up becoming the new leader of the mob. Eli hated Liberty City, so in 1960 decided to move half the Mob to San Fierro, he knew it was a long way away from anyone they knew but he didn't think any gang's would be Established there. He headed over with 120 men, which most of them were dead by the time they returned. On arrival they were confronted by the Local Triads. In a gun battle that last 50 Minutes, Eli and most of his men were found dead. While only a Handful made it through to the safety of SFPD. 5 Men survived the gun fight, and word from Liberty City is that the other half of the O'Neil Mob changed their name to "The Westies" and warned if any of the other men from the O'Neil Mob returned they would be shot on sight.

The 5 Members of the gang decided to appoint a leader for their small Mob and try get to another city and start recruiting. Levi Johnson who lead the small group and the women and children who had survived to Los Santos, thanks to the help of some Hispanic Truckers. One of the Truckers name was Pablo Cruz, younger brother of the Hispanic gang Vato's Loco's leader Juan Cruz, on arrival they made friends with the small Hispanic gang, and started providing them with cheap bath tub whiskey to sell to the locals. It brought in a small income enough to buy some guns and an apartment block for the Mob. They started recruiting any race of person, Africans, Hispanic, Italian. they recruited them all. By 1965 they had 21 members, only 8 of them Irish.
In 1969 Levi finally had a son, he named him Enoch Johnson. The Mob started smuggling drugs in from Mexico via boat. Bringing in a bigger income then the mob had seen in 10 years. They started over using their money buying luxuries homes. Fast cars, and all sorts. The police caught on quick and an investigation went on with the mob.

By 1985 Most of the gang was in prison, or had been killed in a rival gang shoot out. All that remain'd was the son's of the Irish gangsters. They decided to keep their family legacy by starting the "O'Neil Boys" a small youth gang protecting their apartment complex in Idlewood. And ended up in war with most of the mixed race gangs in the area. As the children in the apartment complex turned 13 they were initiated into the Gang. Enoch was 16 and the 2nd eldest of the gang. But Enoch was appointed as leader, because the eldest Drew was alot smaller and not as good of a fighter. In 1987 they found themselves in a brawl with Rolling Heights Ballers, where Enoch beat one of the ballas to death. They O'Neil boys ran, but they were never even suspected of killing the boy. Because their mothers vouched for where they were and the ballas, kept to the street code and didn't nark. But this started a turf war between ending a large portion of both gangs in Hospital more then once.

In 1992 Enoch decided to change their name back to O'Neil Mob and has been leading them ever since.

R4 Captain - A member of the Mob who has shown their worth to the fullest, and is respected by all members.
R3 Loyalist - Has shown their loyalty, and seems that they would kill themselves before ratting out the mob.
R2 Brawler - Has proven them self in a fight, but yet to show their full Loyalty.
R1 Hang about - They are considering joining the mob, but have a lot to prove before they can.
